Club Brugge-winger Noa Lang is besmet geraakt met het coronavirus. Hier maken de Belgische media melding van. Eerder legden Stefano Denswil, Hans Vanaken, Matej Mitrovic en de voltallig technische staf positieve tests af.
Maandag legde Lang nog een negatieve test af, al voelde hij zich toen al niet lekker. Enkele dagen later is gebleken dat hij toch besmet is met het virus. Dinsdag zat Lang al ziek thuis en de bedoeling was dat hij mogelijk alsnog mee zou reizen naar Kiev voor het duel met Dinamo van donderdag. Aanvankelijk klonk het dat Lang met maagklachten te kampen had, maar hij blijkt dus toch besmet. Een nieuwe test heeft dat aangetoond. De uitblinker zit momenteel thuis.
De selectie van Club Brugge is momenteel in Kiev, waar het donderdagmiddag tegen Dinamo speelt in de Europa League. Vandaag wordt de spelersgroep van de Belgische topclub nogmaals getest op corona.
